I was tempted to get the deluxe. But nah, I don't trust the NCAA. I'm getting physical. Never know when they could just suddenly stop making these again.

I got the deluxe edition. Only because I had enough points from my fitness tracker to get it for free.
Don’t think ncaa has much to do with this that’s why it’s just college football 25 they have all the teams they don’t need the ncaa..
I noticed that if you get Barrion Brown or Dane Key the ball they gone
Dane Key is so good. I just lob it up to him on a vert play and he gets it.
I use to do that and I would max the scoreboard out at 244 I think it’s been awhile lol, I play 8 minutes still takes about a hour and half
I had to adjust the sliders a little bit, pass defense was terrible no matter who I played with.
Only a few things I hate about it. Defense is just awful. It's probably designed to be that way because it's obviously more fun to score a lot of points than not...but there should be a way to let the defense at least be good at times. Other thing I hate is it's crazy how hard Varsity is lol. But love the game outside of those 2 things.
Really makes you question why Madden can't put out good football games anymore. I know it's not the same dev team but still. I tried Madden 24 and it was just awful.
Yes for sure. As stated above I adjusted the gameplay sliders. There's a defense reaction or something like that and a pass coverage. Everything is set at 50 but I moved those two up to 60 and it helped some.
It's still frustrating tgo bc no matter who you play with and against the cpu just throws darts and ppl are wide open.
However, I watched some tutorials on YouTube, you can see before the play on defense who's at a mismatch...the receiver will have a red circle if you are, I already forgot what you have to push to see that tho, lol. You can also flip your right stick up during a play and it will automatically put you to a player that can help when someone's beat, then after the throw it will go back to hit stick. Easier said than done tho...it moves so fast!
Same on offense, I can't even get through all the progressions and after I look at one guy the others are already thru their routes. Best thing to do is try to move forward in the pocket...I instinctually always drop back.
This is what frustrates me especially considering how well the machine plays defense.
Your db can be in their hip pocket and do nothing. The cpu defender can jump and knock down/intercept a pass 20 yards beyond them.
I played on Varsity and for my butt kicked by Vandy. I played on freshman and beat them 93-0
The recruiting with the pipelines is so crazy. I finished my first year 7-6.
But after the year Barion Brown transfered on me...was able to talk Hairston out of going to the draft tho. Lol. And signed a qb from Lawrenceburg who has 98 speed...so basically got Mike Vick out there

Game is still fun as hell. Feels like the defense is a little better after the recent update a few weeks or so ago.
