Kentucky has beaten TWO one seeds still in the dance, and one two seed twice. The Cats have beaten five remaining teams a total of six times. Even out of confernece, the Cats can point to wins over Duke and Gonzaga.

Illinois has a solid record too, having beaten some of the B-10 teams that advanced. By ranking, it appears their best win is over Wisconsin at home. But they haven't beaten a 1 or 2 seed, and their best OOC performance was a two-point loss to Tennessee...

I don't read much into that for a late March tournament game. It will be a war, especially with the Cats banged up. But the Cats should be prepared for the intensity.
