71%You have to understand Baylor was a train wreck when he got there. They were on major sanctions from the NCAA. You take the first 5 years away and what is his winning percentage???

are you just this dense or do you not understand the MAJOR differences between Baylor and UK ?12 years, 4 years. Doesn’t matter to me unless it was this year. The last 3 they’ve both been bad. Are we ok losing 2nd round as 1,3,3 seeds consecutively as long as it’s not Cal?
You and others in this thread sure won't be making a living at data analysis.52% of his conference games. I can't wait.
That dense. They also don't understand trends. Drew is basically the polar opposite of Cal in success.are you just this dense or do you not understand the MAJOR differences between Baylor and UK ?
What do you mean by “polar opposite in success”?That dense. They also don't understand trends. Drew is basically the polar opposite of Cal in success.
Not in 2012 I was there in ATL when we blew them out. The other time we were on the road and the woman's game went OTs I don't remember how many and our guys were sitting in the tunnel forever. So the only other win was against our NIT team. Not exactly beating up on Cals best. 1 win besides the NIT team and like I said our tip as a road team was crazy late.He beat us in cals good seasons.
Drew had a terrible record in his early years, albeit the NCAA killed the program, but his results have greatly improved over time. What do you mean by “polar opposite in success”?
What does crazy late have to do with anything? Both teams went through it. 2013 team was pretty good with Nerlens. Not in 2012 I was there in ATL when we blew them out. They have had the 2nd best record over the past 5 seasonsDrew had a terrible record in his early years, albeit the NCAA killed the program, but his results have greatly improved over time.
Cal was the exact opposite.
At least he may be able to put together complete sentences. He can be boring, just win games and I won't care
We were a road team flying to TX and stuck waiting for a tip that was like 11pm. 2013 team wasn't that good. But either way he's 2-1 against Cal. The one that mattered in the NCAAT we spanked them. What does crazy late have to do with anything? Both teams went through it. 2013 team was pretty good with Nerlens.
He's 128-35 in the last 5 years, which is a winning % of .785He has won 64 % of his games. Wow!
I get it. However, I think Drew would coach absolute circles around Calipari. At least, if he coaches like he has the past 5/6 years here.Man if Cal ends up owning this guy and or even louisville our fanbase will go nucking futs!
Glad you posted this. He was like my fifth choice, but anybody that watches the game knows he’s been pretty dang solid the last few years and will give us every chance to get back on track here. He’ll be locked in and is ready. He's 128-35 in the last 5 years, which is a winning % of .785
That's much more UK-like.
When he started at Baylor in 2003, he was basically trying to dig them out of a hole, so they had several losing seasons back then.
In that same stretch, last 5 seasons, UK was 105-52 .668
Would you be as pessimistic about Hurley until he proved something at UK?I'll keep repeating it until he proves something here.
70% if you toss out his first 4 years at Baylor where he was having to dig them out of being an absolute horrible program. He has won 64 % of his games. Wow!
Or you could go root for another team instead of being so miserable being a fan of UKI'll keep repeating it until he proves something here.
Cal didnt own this guy when he was coaching at UK. In fact Drew beat our asses the last 2 times we played them and one of those was in Rupp.Man if Cal ends up owning this guy and or even louisville our fanbase will go nucking futs!
Baylor was on probation his first 2-3 years. Major probation. One player killed another player. It was rock bottom as you can get. Coukd only have 7 scholarship players. It was a complete shipwreck of a program.
Sure they beat our NIT team, the year before we trounced them in the E8.Cal didnt own this guy when he was coaching at UK. In fact Drew beat our asses the last 2 times we played them and one of those was in Rupp.
They still have a winning record against Cal and Kentucky. Cherry pick it anyway you want but that should have never happened with Cal as the coach and the resources Kentucky provides. Like it or not Cal was responsible for that NIT Team not Drew.Sure they beat our NIT team, the year before we trounced them in the E8.
Sure 2-1 against us, 0-3 against Dook and 8-29 against Kansas. Also 0-1 against UNC.They still have a winning record against Cal and Kentucky. Cherry pick it anyway you want but that should have never happened with Cal as the coach and the resources Kentucky provides. Like it or not Cal was responsible for that NIT Team not Drew.
I think you're right. I think his first 7 years were very limited in what he could do. Limited schollies.Probation was 2 to 3 years but the scholarship restrictions lasted almost 10 years from what I read. He still overcame all of that to build up Baylor to what it is today in one of the toughest conferences. Impressive stuff
I don't think a lot of our fans do not realize this and there was no transfer portal to work with. He literally built that program up from nothing.Probation was 2 to 3 years but the scholarship restrictions lasted almost 10 years from what I read. He still overcame all of that to build up Baylor to what it is today in one of the toughest conferences. Impressive stuff
