I'll belive it when I see it, but the wasn't a college player alive that could keep John Wall out of the lane.
It took a freak game that we haven't seen since 84 Georgetown. I like Huggins, but he had nothing to do with it.Definitely.
It took a very smart coach (Huggins) and a whole team playing a very effective zone (WVU) to send him and the Cats home.
We didn't lose that game because WVU kept John Wall out of the lane. We lost that game because we kept trying to shoot 3s. If we would have just ignored the outside shot and exploited our advantage inside.... who knows. But we lost that game taking 32 3-pointers.Definitely.

That happens when you are rattled. Get out of your offense and just jack up 3s.But we lost that game taking 32 3-pointers.
He had something to do with it since he was the coach that decided to play zone against UK.It took a freak game that we haven't seen since 84 Georgetown. I like Huggins, but he had nothing to do with it.

Maybe not, but I think it was mostly just a freak horrific shooting night.I don’t think you are giving Huggins enough credit for that game.
Just my opinion.
And a very ineffective zone offense that seemingly relied solely on jumpshots. What did we shoot from deep that game? 2 or 3 for 30-something, maybe? Abysmally bad, whatever the exact #'s. Especially egregious considering we had Cuz and PP at the 4/5 spots.Definitely.

I look forward to a battle between freshman Clarke and sophomore Scottie Lewis.

Here’s the box score. UK’s FT shooting was horrific too.I could be having an old guy thought here but didn't WVA only made 3 pointers in the first half and no 2 pointers?
