Our team blew it in 2010 and 2015. The NCAA didn't force us to shoot 3s all night .WVU did. The NCAA did not beat us in 2015 but WISC beat us.
UK was up 69-64 against UNC. We lost the lead.

But they did finish games. The last 3, were all close at the end, but they finished. Sure the refs screwed us over the first 20 minutes, but with 5 minutes to go it was even (we even had a 5pt lead), and they finished and we didn't.

Higgins is not a final four level ref. Having been a ref for 42 years and knowing a person who evaluates college officials and doesnt think much of Higgins at all, I would say Higgins dont cut the mustard regardless of the procedures they go through. There is slim pickings in the NCAA ref pool right now. Higgin is really bad and you would have to watch some games and just watch him to see what I am talking about.

UK will win another championship and soon. Try in two years! This crop of fresh won't all be one and done. I for one am willing to sacrifice a 8 loss season next year for a ring the following year. I think Cal has a UNC type of team that has very good players but not phenoms next year. Throw in a couple of Bagleys and Zions the following class and we are dominant! I see a silver lining for another crown very soon plus the fun of having about 5 of these guys come back the following year. Bamba ( if he comes) and PJ might be our only one and drones next year. Just my opinions.

We'll just have to wait and see what they become. Hopefully, it will temper some expectations on this group next year and some people won't freak out when they lose a few games here or there and start calling for Cal's job on a platter. Now, I said hopefully.....I didn't say likely cause we all know how that goes.

I've never officiated a lick but I know a lousy official when I see one and one who seems to go out of his way to make sure all calls that could go either way, go against us. Higgins record in games involving UK speak for themselves. He sucks!
