Agree. As disappointed as I was with Poy's game last night, I was even more upset with the fact he wasnt cheering from the bench after he fouled out.Poythress was the issue. It would have been much worse though had Ulis not played. I'll forgive his shooting woes because he's trying to shoot with a wounded wing. Ulis is tough as nails. He wasn't the problem last night.
Poythress will be fine. He had a bad game but so did the whole team. He will be a force this year.
Agree on Ulis, he still helped a lot with his 9 assists, but 2/12 is 2/12.

I hope I am so wrong about this, but I just don't see it. I don't think Poythress' problems are physical, he just doesn't have it in him to show up, every night, and bang. Its not who he is, and it can't be taught. I'm afraid that it may be Skal's problem too.Poythress will be fine. He had a bad game but so did the whole team. He will be a force this year.
Poythress could stay at UK until he was 30, and we would still see the same player. People still thinking that the beast switch will magically turn on in this kid should stop torturing themselves. He will have key moments in games where he will do something positive, and add energy to the team, but you won't get it consistently for 30+ minutes a night.I hope I am so wrong about this, but I just don't see it.
