I think the facts speak for themselves. If he's great we play great. If he doesn't show up neither does the team. He is the key to success for this team. Without him we go no where
I think you have the cause and effect wrong. He plays well when the team plays well. More the canary in the coal mine.
Can we once and for all stop with the "Alex is the key" stuff. He's never going to be the key. He's a role player, nothing more. That light has had plenty of chances to come on, and all it ever does is flicker.
