Oh the girl just did a boring one handed dunk. Giving her a high score will compromise the remarkable integrity of a contest between high schoolers with a cheeseburger clown on the floor.

I'd rather have a fundamental player who can execute a bounce pass and make free throws.

Doubt that will matter much. They said the same about Julius Randle. Strong dudes tend to continue to be strong when they get to college. Same with elite athletes. Especially if a 6’9 250 guy has to guard him on the outside with his handles and quickness. Same way that 6’5 PF from buffalo straight destroyed 7’0 260 DeAndre Ayton or the same way those Tenn strong guys punish those taller players that guarded them

Gave this same speech when people doubted Julia Randle and the same speech when people doubted 5’7 Tyler Ulis. Height doesn’t mean much if you are good. Same thing I’ll say about Keldon Johnson when he climbs a 6’9 big and puts him on his Azz when he tries to block him.

Yeah, he outweighs those guys by 75 pounds though. Let him play a 6’9 250 college junior.

Zion reminds me of Isaiah Rider except Zion has a bit more power. If you remember his dunks, they were impressive.

I was thinking of him being close to most under valued.

Yeah hey are going a tad crazy. If they said “at the same stage” (Highschool sr) I can understand, but I’m not putting them in their class when they werare in their NBA primes. He can get there but not there yet imo

The greatest dunkers I have seen are Vince Carter, Dominique Wilkins, and Michael Jordan. Those guys were amazing in contests and games. Zion is a great dunker but the greatest ever???

Zion is the best dunker ever in High School

He is a great dunker, of the basketball, but, when a game gets close, can he get to the rim? And if so, can he make a foul shot? Don't get me wrong, he could easily be the POY, next year, but, I think it is going to be a little different game for him, once he gets to college. He will have to make a few outside shots, or teams will play off of him, and make it tough for him to drive it. He may be able to, and maybe not. If he can, he shouldn't bother with college, he should go straight to the Celtics.

Put Zion in a dunk competition back in the day with no social media and no one would even know who he was. Social media gives people the opportunity to market themselves on a global level to millions of people that would not see what you're doing otherwise. With that being said, I absolutely hate social media.

If he is a bigger version of diallo he will be a highlight reel but won’t effect the game. For ZW to make it he has to have a jumper and be able to hit 3s atleast a third of the time. That will take him more than a season.

Zion will probably be like Kyrie Irving, play about 6 games for Duke, have a season ending injury - probably blowing out a knee on a monster dunk in an early season 39 pt blowout of Appy State - then go straight to the NBA. So much for learning from the greatest.

Hope it doesn’t happen because the guy is entertaining to watch, but with his bulk and incredible leaping ability, he just seems like a knee injury waiting to happen.

Next year they should have a dunk contest for the girls.
