What's up with the live cam? Do they have it down because the team was using the stadium for fall camp stuff? Anyone know?
the fact that they turned off both the interior and training center ones at the same time and have been very tight-lipped about it - I think they got tired of all the bitchin from folks about it not being ready on time and those complaining about the back of the scoreboard......but I wish they would turn it back on. It has helped make my summer more enjoyable by being able to follow the progress.
Well, you couldn't see the back of the scoreboard from the interior camera, so not sure why they would do that. It does seem a bit petty that they turned it off, though.
I think they turned it off becausethe team has been practicing in there some. Probably a good idea as they work through the gameplan for ULL.
Possibly, but how hard would it be to turn them back on after practice.....I have to think there is more to it.....and why would they turn off the training center cameras?

The camera's for the practice facility have been down as well. Both went down on the 21st. This is not the first time that this has occurred during the construction process. I have messaged UK and have gotten a response that they have had troubles keeping the live feed up and running during the construction and that they would have it up and running again as soon as possible. I look for them to be up in the next day or so.

From KSR: The latest update from UK Athletics shows improvements in the press box side of the stadium. One of the large blue banners is finished, it looks like the glass has been installed on the bottom floor, AND (drum roll please) CHAIR BACKS!
I've been waiting to see how the new, wider upper concourses would look. It's going to be great having more room to navigate and it will be a hell of a lot easier to take cover when there is severe weather.
Only thing better than that would be a leather recliner with a big UK logo on it lol

Why is the "UK" logo so small on the right side of the press box? Every rendering I ever saw had one on either side of the press box and they were fairly large. It just looks out of sorts with all that blue around it.
Drove by Commonwealth yesterday, that is not what is painted on the outside. Someone who has been inside Commonwealth says the interior is awesome. I can't wait to see it Saturday. The new UK logo is painted on the outside.
That is the scoreboard facing Nutter. The scoreboard facing Nicholasville has the interlocking UK.
