* A crazy game and win for the Cats … The Cats gave away the game, losing an 11pt lead with 1:44 to play …how do you mess up that lead … terrible … fortunate to win with Oweh prayer at the end. The Cats went from assured of the win, to a complete collapse and blowing the game, to winning on a prayer at the end. Stunning to watch all of that unfold. Our press offense is not good.

* Oweh was really good in the 2nd half. I would have went to Carr in the post all night. Brea was good. Williams, not a good defensive matchup for him, but we needed him on offense … Garrison a better matchup on the defensive end, but chaotic on the offensive end. Chandler, who was bloodied with a non-foul call did okay, Noah gave us some minutes, Almonor with a couple of buckets.

* The officiating …awful. They treated Fears like he was a fragile flower …awful. Cats got mugged on most possessions … no call. Officiating is a hard job, but it’s a problem.

* Injuries for UK are exhausting this year … Butler, who knows. It’s almost impossible to win without good guards, any guards … especially a PG. We are somehow winning with a bunch of unknowns with bandages, stitches, medical tape, pads, stitches, etc … it’s a mash unit.

* Did the Cats earn a solid 3-seed tonight? Will our injuries be a factor in our seeding?

* Up Next: Cats get to bed before 3:00 am and then play again in less than 20 hours against a deep, athletic, fast-paced Bama. Can the Cats legs hold out … can we defend without Butler. … as an aside, IMO, the SEC dropped the ball with the game scheduling … just start at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 9:00 pm. SEC needs to address this … a lot of people didn’t see that game tonight.
