* Watching two games at the same time here … but the Cats get the win over Louisville. We did what we needed to do. Granted it was a bad UL team, but may have been the best we have played this year.

* We came out playing more confident and it showed early in the game. Cannot play passive and expect to win. Yes, it was Louisville, but it was good to see just a little beginnings of some swagger.

* We know what we have in Oscar (24/14) and Wallace (17/5) … and Wheeler (7/9) is what he is. We pretty much know what we have with those three.

* … with that said, going into the season, the question was how good we would be at the 3 and 4 positions. Expectations were high for Toppin and he hasn’t delivered …. until today (24/7) … much better today. He still needs to learn the game, but he has to use his athletic ability as he learns. We will see if he can consistently get it done moving forward. Livingston is arguably our 2nd most aggressive rebounder per minutes played and needs to play to get him ready. Ware/Collins/Ugo are spot minute players IMO… too offensively limited at this point. That leaves Reeves, CJ, and Adou to get points out of the 2-3 spot … we have got to get them going.

* We we’re better today … except FT’s 16-25.

* Finally, Vegas is good

* Up Next: LSU in Rupp on Tuesday night. Must, must, protect the home court and get the win.
