No Wall or Knight but otherwise, looks like a killer lineup. Any team in the NBA would kill to start Davis & Cousins and have Towns come off the bench.

I had heard Wall wouldn't be attending, but I thought I had heard that Knight would be playing. Maybe something changed with his schedule.
Any of those players talking about this on Twitter? Have a hard time believing many of those players listed will play.
I agree...I expect many to be in attendance but those actually playing will be limited or effort at least be limited. I can't see guys risking any sort of injury in a game like this. It'll be fun to see them all interact together, but the game itself will be similar to an all-star game with not much defense. Wouldn't surprise me to see the UNC guys take this much more serious than the UK guys.
Last time I think there was a few players saying they would play and at the last minute had to back out because of agreements on their contracts.
I can't decide if I would rather see the UK guys demolish the UNC team or just have fun with it. If we crush them by like 50 it would probably deter other schools from taking part in similar events in the future, but it would be a fun memory for UK fans for years to come. If it's more of a laid back thing, the game will be forgotten about in a week.
UNC doesn't have many high level pros to choose from these days.

I too think the UNC guys would take this game more seriously. Not sure it would matter, but you never know. I don't think UNC has the NBA talent anymore to make this an interesting game. Like someone else said, maybe we try this with Duke instead in a few more games. With bigger name guys still in their prime, it would get much more attention. I'm sure some will tune in to see the likely fist fight between Cousins and Wallace if both teams do take this serious. Then again, if UNC talks Henson into playing, it could turn the tide. I mean I remember Arguing with UNC fans daily about Davis being just another Henson, without the shooting. I'm pretty sure UNC guys were saying Slight lead to Henson in that matchup. Let's hope he's busy doing something else or we are screwed.
100% guarantee WCS is attending. My folks are in Lex and are staying at the Holiday Inn Express downtown, and met WCS in the lobby. I even have photos. ;-)
