Justin mentioned Calvin Taylor as a possible late add-on to the 2015 class. Kid is HUGE at 6'9" 270 DE. Only has played FB for 3 years. You can't teach that kinda size.

Kid is listed as a 2 star OL but I guessing he is extremely raw, which might explain why so few offers.

Taylor

He is listed at 6'9" 260 in the article and 265 in his profile. He has a 5.4 rating. It said he also played basketball. He has been playing football only 3 years. He has the size to get much bigger and with coaching being that new to football probably has a good up side. Like the other dude said you can not coach size and this guy seems to have a large frame. He likely also has some agility having played basketball. 2 to 3 years in a good S&C program, some coaching and maybe he is a good OT.

Now that is going back a long way, I bet at least half here were only a gleam in their dad's eye when his pro wrestling career ended. Ed "Too Tall" Jones was another really big DE, a little later but not much. I guess guys with that kind of size lean towards BB now.

That was my secondary point with this post,we will find out who the real football fans are here,if you have been a Cat fan that long you are a bad man

Hacksaw Jim Duggan played football for SMU and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons.

There aren't many 6'9" DEs for a reason.

I would be surprised if he was actually be recruiting as a DE.

Not a lot for sure. Ted Hendricks, Ben Davidson, Doug Atkins were in the neighborhood. I think Oregon has a guy close too. Still, if he can run then why not? Could be one of those once in a lifetime freaks.

If he was, then he would have been a highly-regarded recruit.
