It’s been frustrating being a Kentucky basketball fan this year and there are a ton of threads for that. However, I am not going to let that ruin some other great facts.
-Louisville only won FOUR games. My favorite UofL team to date.
-After being runner-ups last year, UNC returned basically everyone minus Manek and missed the tournament.
-Despite having a ton of seniors, we beat Tennessee twice and they didn’t go too deep.
-Duke was meh. Lively was a bust.
-UCLA may have won another if they would have been healthy. I don’t know, but at least they didn’t add a title.
-Purdue lost to a 16 seed.
-Starting to see some emerging replacements for Calipari when he leaves, like Oats, Hurley
-IU still a has-been. I would have never thought with that in-state talent and fanbase, they would be down for so long.
So yeah, misery loves company and I am thankful for the misery of some of our rivals.
