I know fans don’t want players who don’t want to be here, but if you could pull one portal transfer from this past year back to the current squad, who would it be?

Probably either Rogers or Smoke mainly due to their level of experience.
Rogers running 2nd. team at Auburn. I wonder if he has any regrets?????
Justin Rogers and then convert him to the O-line like he should have done to begin with.
Goodwin is not even playing anywhere this year. There are some issues with him. Good kid but he is NOT the one. Rogers is the only answer, with our defense, he would just make it that much better.
I think people looking at Buford starting for his new team and inflated the loss a lot more than it was. JMHO, not saying it as fact.

Speaking of the portal, I noticed Beau Allen is the 3rd string QB at Georgia Southern, and Keaten Upshaw is the starting tight end at Georgia Southern.

I know Rogers would be the logical choice but on purely a needs basis I look at our D-line and we are in great shape, OTOH we could use another OT. So I would take Buford back. He was improving last year and I think he would have been serviceable this year.
Buford could be as good as any OT UK has if it clicked mentally. He was the most athletic OT they had last year. Prob was the new scheme but he just didn't get it last year. His two games he started, he looked good and the line played its best of the season but according to the coaches he missed a lot off assignments. That is the only reason he wasn't the starting LT all of last year. Had he stayed and it clicked, he would be the starting RT going into this season.
Rogers is the best player but considering how thin we are on the Oline and at tackle in particular it has to be Buford
Great point.^^^^ Rogers IS the better player but Burford would make more of an impact by providing depth and spells for a few starters IMO.
