Don't normally start a thread. I told my wife last night that I would not have been in the game long if I had been coaching. I thought flopping was supposed to be a technical these days, I get so sick of watching these players just throw their head back and fall and not discreetly I might add!! Pope has done a phenomenal job In a short period of time assembling a very good team and we all know that. One thing he is learning SEC is a football league and when you are on the road that is how most SEC teams play Georgia brutalized the Cats last night and were rewarded for it by the officials, Georgia has a pretty good team but will go no where in most season play because other officials will stop that style.
Back to Coach Pope, I pride myself in being and he a christian and as I said I would have been tossed way before halftime, he sat a example last night of how adult people are supposed to act, we all know he is a highly intelligent man who keeps his emotions in check, as we witnessed last night. That will in my opinion be a steadying effect on this team and will pay dividends before season is over. Our team plays finesse basketball and mimics the west coast teams who cannot match the physicality of most SEC teams and he knows that and will adjust.
Finally if we had shot like we normally do we still would have won,.
