I THINK Nate Ament plays in the nightcap today against Prolific Prep. Very interested to see whether Pope attends that or not. Could be a clue as to Wilson’s decision Thursday.
Pretty sure we have enough clues to see what Wilson will do . Once Trilly put in for UNC , that’s the fat lady singing.
While we've never seemed to get much traction with him, I think he's more of a Pope fit that Wilson was.
I believe we have enough talented , highly rated recruits coming in . Now get a few portal dudes . Hopefully a four man that shoots better than Wilson’s 26% on threes .
I see a lot of Mark Sears in this kid, playing style and leadership. Doesn't hurt that Lewis is a bit bigger.
I’m late to the party but when did that pick come in for him? If true, let them pay his 4 mill or whatever it was last rumored and let’s hit the portal. I know NIL has changed a lot of things but I still want guys that want to be here vs chase money……..but maybe I’m dreaming that is or will ever be true again.
I didn't see that pick either. Disappointed that it is nothing but $. Landing ament would be a great choice as he seems more advanced offensively
Thanks for posting this. He seems like the whole package, a leader and a good player. His ppg is not very high but we probably can't read too much into it because he appears to be on a low scoring team.
i think the Wilson commitment will give him another year.
Was reported on HOB this morning. I don’t believe it is “just about money “ because Arkansas had the highest offer and he cut them (even before they impoded) . People forget that he had a relationship with Hubert before CMP was ever hired. He said in an interview that he had been on unofficial visits and watched their practices several times .
It’s being said that Davis sold him and his family on being their “Cooper Flagg” next year and they bought it. I don’t see him as that dude though.
Yeah if he bought that then good luck to the kid, he's a kid I wanted and still would take but he's not even close to what Cooper Flagg is.
I know very little about the kid but someone on here wrote that recruiters believe he may be the best COLLEGE point guard in the class, and I love the sound of that. I assume that means he’ll probably be in college for more than one year, hopefully Kentucky the whole time!
