For what all he has had to overcome this season, he has been OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Lost his PG in 2 of the biggest games of the year ON THE ROAD and WON BOTH!!!!

Has had to implement a system to players that had NEVER played together before this season!!!

This team is NOT dead yet!!!! Still a lot of GROWTH left for them!!!

I LOVE beating the Vols!!!!

I think this team can be soft and tough at the same time. At times the most certainly are physically soft with the ball. How many times do we lose 50/50 balls or aren't strong with rebounds? Tennessee had quite a few possessions tonight where they got like three or four shots off because we just couldn't rebound the ball.

But this team is incredibly mentally tough and won't be scared of any situation a game throws at them. They could have easily folded down the stretch tonight but did what needed to be done.

Over many years, I think most of us that have followed the cats for a long time realize that our teams have a learning curve that, by the time SEC league play begins, they have to learn how to play physical and absorb it, be tougher. We also have to hustle more, put more effort, stay sharper, and simply do alot of intangible things that other teams simply don't have to rise above in order to win, because not every team that they play plays like they do against us.

This team is learning (still!) and still has a way to go.

But this is a concrete step in the right direction, and it NEVER (contrary to what some here have been saying) that we re going in the wrong direction.

Coach Pope said "we aren't that far away" before this game. I never scoffed or doubted that.

I've been seeing "spurts of consistency" where all the intangibles for the recipe of a truly GREAT Kentucky squad this season.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I am certainly loving this season.

Man, what a rush !
