Pope rebirthed the UK program

Coach Pope has done a amazing job having to rebuilt a a whole team in such a short time and already back in the sweet 16. Go Cats.
At the bare minimum, we established a proof of concept this season. Our offense has an identity, and if you're not elite on defense chances are Kentucky is going to shred you.
I didn't think with all the injuries and just how up and down the team was that we'd survive the first weekend, but I knew we had the proof of concept.
Well, here we are, and a banner weekend isn't out of the question. There was a sizable chunk on this board laughing all the way through February at our struggles, and those folks are nowhere to be found now.
We also have a chance at having the most significant returning core of players in all of college basketball. Don't be surprised if we're preseason top 5 next year, and unlike a Cal season, we pretty much stay there all year.

I saw a lot of UK flags on cars and houses where I live. People are enjoying UK basketball again.
In my lifetime (born in 76), I’ve had Pitino, Cal and now Pope that re-birthed the program. All 3 were much needed when they got here.

I am so glad to be rid of FHCOUK... the NBA is not the only that now matters to the program. The program is now the most important thing, not a player, not a coach. But UK. We have the next great coach of UK. And he loves this program. Trolls and haters can GTFO

We finally got a good coach at UK who interested in winning titles.
Pawl has Alabama and Tennessee so far up his ass he can't walk straight.
