I wanted Cal gone and would have just about taken my old high school coach as his replacement.

That might have been true pre-portal, but this is a different game. Plus the NIL floodgates have opened. I have a strong hunch that not many donors were willing to give the glorified NBA agent a nickel.
I can't wait to not hear Calipari answer a question and talk about 38 different things other than what the question was about.

He was nauseating. His interviews, call in shows, press conferences…..were all BS. Never said anything of substance. And he was a garbage in game basketball coach.
Some people just aren't happy unless they're being negative. The beauty of it is, he has no effect on the outcome. That's all in Mark Pope and the players hands. Let's ball!
Nice. Watching someone that fired up to be our new coach is awesome. I think/hope this works out well. It’s hard to watch UK games out in Arizona with time difference and always comes on during bath/dinner/bedtime for the kiddos but better believe I’ll do all I can to watch next year live. Go Cats!

I'm pumped to put the NBA farm system days of Cal using this place as a pit stop to build their brand and jet after one year behind us. Time to get back to playing in tournaments like Maui again, watch players 3-4 years and have true senior days that mean something. Most of all winning championships.
I don’t think we knew just how effing tired of Cal we really were. I mean we knew we were tired of his shtick, but man. Weight has been lifted. Atlas shrugged.
