Remember when we settled for close losses in the champions classic? We would hear the same mundane speech after the “hard fought” loss. “I like my team and we’re the youngest team in college!” Not now. Pope has proven that he can coach a ragtag team of transfers and beat a talent laden team the third game of the season. Can’t wait to see the next couple of seasons.
