How many top 10 wins did Cal have last 3 years? 5 in your first season with a make shift lineup of leftovers is honestly beyond impressive. With this many injuries too?

Many fans on this board hating on Pope after losing to Ole Miss. I tried to put it in perspective and was mocked. I get it; it sucks to lose, but there isn’t a coach in the country that could have done better year one with NO players inherited and all the injuries we’ve had.

Considering all the injuries I think for his first year he has done a fine job.
Add in the fact that 5 of those wins are against Top 10 teams too. It’s absolutely incredible what we’ve been able to do vs. the top competition.
Yup we got over twice as many losses as dook who is gonna be a 1 seed and still our resume is a billion times better.
