What say you? Which games are we most likely to lose? Are you predicting any head-scratcher losses in there? Unexpected wins?

We COULD win them all (maybe even SHOULD), but we always have some close losses and head scratchers. It's just virtually impossible to make it through league play unscathed. We are everyone's game of the year when we come to town, so it's white out, black out, free t-shirt night, free Carhartt hat to the first 1000 attendees, etc. People who DGAS about basketball all year are suddenly rabid, unhinged experts. So I predict we win out at home and unfortunately give away games at A&M, Ark, Auburn, and Tenn.

I said 14-4. I could see a ceiling of 16-2 and a floor of 12-6.

I can’t point to specific games, but can almost guarantee we will: lose to a bad team on the road, beat a team we aren’t expected to beat on the road, go to OT with a bad team at home after getting down 14-2 but pull it out.

I hope this team continues to score well enough to stave off the notorious scoring droughts that have plagued us in years past. Need to go undefeated at home and better than .500 on the road to a have shot at the conference title and a good seed in March.

I think 5 losses is conservative. We lost to Vandy last year...twice.

Let's hope Cal proves me wrong.

14-4 in the SEC. 25-6 overall. Depending on how the SEC Tourney goes, likely a 2 seed with an outside chance for a 1 seed.

I think we lose the @A&M game with the way they are slowing it down this year. I don't like Coleman in the middle for them either. Not sure what happened to Julius Marble though.

Next, I think we lose @Miss St. They have a good team right now and are getting Tolu Smith back so they look worse than they are currently without him. Like the A&M game, I think we lose one of the games against Tennessee. Likely the road game, but I could see us dropping the home game and beating them at home. They have good defense and won't shoot poorly in both games against us.

Finally, I see us dropping an unforeseen game. Several of these teams, like Florida, Bama, Auburn, and Arkansas are tough and we play a total of 6 games against them. That's 4 losses total for the SEC slate.

I think Ole Miss and South Carolina are frauds, but I'm glad they aren't hurting us, as a conference, for once.

15-3 just resonates with me.

I have a future bet on UK winning the conference regular season. What record at a minimum do you think we need to post to win the conference regular season?

13-5. I think we'll be in every game but lose on the road to A&M, Arkansas, Miss State, UT and LSU.
I like our chances to win the SEC tourney.
24-7 overall. Likely a 3 or 4 seed in the big dance.

espn had us as 13 - 5, so I went with that just for shits and giggles, because we All KNOW how insightful and right ESPN is on everything when it comes to Kentucky basketball....

I voted for 5 losses but now I’m thinking 6 losses to:

@Florida
@TXAM
@South Car
@Ark
@Tenn

One game at home that we shouldn’t lose.

12-6 winning the SEC tourney

So you think most likely we lose 6 or more SEC games? Wow! I'll give you credit for remaining consistent with the negativity no matter what reality may show you. You find it unlikely to outdo last year's 12-6? Do you honestly to believe this team to be no better than the last couple?

🤦🏻‍♂️

You’re negative if you say 12-6? With 7 or 8 really tough road games?

Some people try to be realistic.

I won’t be surprised if we have a really slow start to the conference season. Away games at Florida, A&M and SC. Could easily be 3-3 after 6 games.

If you view this team as potentially at least a 3 seed then better than 12-6 should certainly be expected. There are only 9 road games. So you view all but one or two as really tough? A great team should find a way to win at least 6 or 7 of those. I am frequently accused of not being demanding enough and tempering expectations. I think 12-6 would be very disappointing with this team.

LOL we ain't losing 6 games . SEC sucks this year and this team is better IMO then even the team who went undefeated in 2014/15. We are younger so we have lost 2 and will lose 2-3 more but I'd take this team in a 5 game series over that team for sure. DJ / reeves / shep / dilly blow and i mean freaking blow the twins /ulis and booker out of the water. As you must remember our Booker is no where close to the NBA's booker. Towns is better then Bradshaw but Mitchell is way better then Dakari or WCS . And I'd take Thiero now over Lyles ( a super overrated player) .
