Bengals or Titans?

I pull for the titans as I have family in Nashville and they support them hard-core. In general I could care less about the NFL and have watched 1 game all year.

Luke warm Bengals. I've watch more NFL in last month than in previous 5 years.

3:30 AM poll!

NFL is boring if the Bengals aren’t playing. Pan the camera on the crowd during NFL games and there’s drunk, fat slobs.

I’ll take the babes and the dorks (band) that come with college football any day of the Fall.

I agree with this as other than titans games I don't watch the NFL.

I will watch other sec games outside of uk. Don't watch many other conferences as they are jv ball.

I grew up a fan of the Bengals and Cowboys. Living in central KY, the Bengals were on every week due to the regional NBC broadcast. And of course the Cowboys were always on.

The Bengals were ALWAYS called by Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy. I think the Cowboys were Summerall and Tom Brookshier (before Madden retired). Damn, I'm old.
Those were the days though. I remember hearing the ticking of the "60 Minutes" clock and having a visceral depressed reaction hit me. "Weekend is over...I haven't started my homework..."

I’m a lot younger, but I always remember Bengals games being called by CBS’ ‘D’ team (deservingly so) in the late 90s/early 2000s. Don Crique and Steve Tasker, lol. Same depressed feeling about the ‘60 Minutes’ ticker. What my generation calls the “Sunday Scaries”. Always looked forward to seeing what Rooney would be complaining about that week.

Bengals fan since the 1980s. Picked up the habit from my dad.

Grew up in the Lexington TV market.

I an probably in the minority of people on this board who prefer the NFL to college. But I still love to watch both.

Bengals fan since 1968. I was four years old when the franchise was created. Lived in Dayton, Ohio for a couple years at the time, because that was where my dad got his first job after leaving the military. Moved to Lexington a couple years later (mom and dad were both from KY) and Lexington has always been Bengals country. UK, Reds and Bengals are the only teams I’ve ever pulled for, and I’ve always been an avid fan of all three. I used to write the weekly game previews for Bengals.com — under the name “John Stofa”.

Grew up b4 Bengals existed & we always got the Browns games - Jim Brown, Bobby Mitchell, Ray Renfro, "Hickerson & Wooten", Milt Plum. Bengals came into being while I was at UK (Saw little TV.), then didn't move right back in NKy, so remained a Browns fan. But Browns faded from attachment & never could get hooked on Bengals like those that were here when they started. Still not.

Browns AFC Cowboys NFC. Haven’t watched but a handful of Pro ball all season. Watch 14 hours of College Football every Saturday this past season. Can’t wait for College Football to roll around again especially our WILDCATS.

Something tells me that a “Neither,” choice would garner as many as positive votes for either.

I’m surprised by how many Cat fans are fans of about any NFL team you name.
I agree . I always pull for the teams with UK guys . Other than that , I just watch.

Like the Packers but not nearly as diehard as UK. I like watching most of the NFL teams, just like watching the players at the top of the sport.

Born in Cincinnati (but grew up in Knox County most of my life) and first ever NFL game was a Bengals game when I was around 6 years old. Let's just say I learned quite a few new words in the lower bowl lol

Is it wrong to be a Colts fan in Kentucky? I've had some strange looks when I admit to it but I don't quite understand why.

We drafted Peyton when I was a kid, got a lot of their games on television because it was pretty local in Louisville, and my dad and I loved the high octane offense. What am I missing?

Will admit I'm more casual in my football fandom because there wasn't a team in the state, so someone clue me in. Is it just because it's the state of Indiana?

It seems from these threads that some people have an issue with any team Kentuckians root for lol. I think the Colts are a rational team to root for.

I've grown up a Cowboys fan. My dad loved them growing up in the 70's, so naturally they became my team. It's too bad I don't remember them in the early 90's much, because I've been a diehard fan for an awful 20+ years.

Probably not kids in Hawaii though. It’d only be noon once they heard the ticking!
I’m pretty sure programs pre-recorded would be played in the evening in Hawaii.

Then, again, the Japs were supposed to bomb at 3:00 pm, but forgot to turn their clocks back.

I’ve been a Bengals fan since the mid-70’s when they had Ken Anderson as QB. They lost in the Super Bowl to the 49’ers I think in 1981 and again in 1988.
