The NBA was in play every year he was at UK. It never was at U of L.

If he had stayed at UK, he would probably have won 7-9 titles and been regarded as the best coach ever in college basketball. Ego got the better of him and it’s obvious he regrets it more than anything.

It is difficult to argue against your point. Had he stayed, special things could've happened ... and probably would have.
