IMO, he says moronic things to the media to lift his players spirits. He wants them to think they are better to get the most out of them. For instance, the siva vs. wall quote. Yeah, have had the thought about Coach Hyperbole, but who has the time or resources? Personally, I don't think you can include this statement in his "greatest hits" list because it doesn't include the words "best ever" "best since" "worst ever" or "worst since". During his tenure at Louisville, he's put a grand total of ten players in the NBA. Ten.

And like Supafuzz75 noted, only three of those guys are still in the NBA.
