Pitino and the fighting Johns are currently taking it to Drew and Baylor. They are up 44-30 just went to half. They have been up as much as 17 and at times doesn’t feel that close. I forgot the 2 players Pitino got that we semi were interested in. The only one I wished we’d got was Devion Smith. Dude just jumped so high on a block it wasn’t fair. The Richmond kid seems like a ball hog. St. Johns 8/11 from 3 currently.
Baylor sucks. Yes St. Johns is really good defensively. It’s Pitino’s old school defense bodying and being extra physical. Baylor has nobody on offense and I’m glad we didn’t get Scott Drew or VJ Edgecomb. Dude is very selfish on offenses doesn’t matter if it’s 1 on 5 break and half ass on defense. I wouldn’t be shocked if Baylor misses the tournament. As far as St Johns I could see them being a popular Cinderella final
