Pick a singing voice

Lowell George.

To the Sammy Hagar lovers, he was Night Ranger if he didn't happen into VH. Yeah, he had some hits on his own, but he is a B list rocker, A list self promoter. I said it.
I would have to say that Standing Hampton is in my top 10 albums of all time. Love Sammy solo.

Never heard of him until you commented. Thanks to google. Midnight Oil. I remember the video from MTV days. Now at least I have a name with a face.
I’ve seen them twice … once up close at Bogarts … totally captivating and unique.

I'll pick some favorite vocal performances.
"A Day in the Life," John Lennon, written by Lennon-McCartney
"I've Got You Under My Skin," Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter
"Being Alive," Dean Jones from the Broadway show "Company," Stephen Sondheim
"I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," Hank Williams, his song
"Crazy," Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson
"Heart Like a Wheel," Linda Ronstadt, Ann McGarrigle
"What's Goin' On," Marvin Gaye, his song
"You've Lost that Loving Feeling," The Righteous Brothers, Mann-Weil
"Born to Run," Bruce Springsteen, his song

If I were a girl I would go with Karen Carpenter.
As a guy maybe Michael Bublé. The ladies dig him.

It's Cornell for me. Ann Wilson of Heart has an amazing voice. She'd be right behind Cornell on my list.
