Per ESPN, SEC QB ratings....

But, but----

What happened to the post last week dumping on Towles for being last in the SEC?

Some people give up too early.

Also, when is the last time you heard a comment like that about Kentucky? "If our QB is on, we will be tough to beat." Awesome.

This^^^^

No kidding.....historically it would have said.."IF UK's QB plays out of his mind and they are plus 5 in turnover margin we have a chance...."

If Towles continues to improve you'll see him move into that top 5. Also good to see we only play 2 more teams with really good QBs (Georgia & Miss St). Dobbs not getting it done down at UT.

The more this season plays out the more hopeful I become that our guys can put together a dream season. Will take a bit of luck, but it's at last a step down from seeing a unicorn.

Very nice PT, says a lot about how far we've come. Clearly our OL is much improved. PT has a good opportunity to pull that number up this week and against Auburn too. Would be nice to be in the top 5 at the end of the year. If he is , we'll be in a good bowl game.

Dobbs is fast though and we suck at contains on qb scrambles. They could drop back to pass and then run to daylight and kill us. The one thing on D we still have to clean up... but if towles keeps putting up good #s we'll be ok.

We've done pretty well against Grier and Mauk, both running QBs. This is 2015, not 2014 or 2013 or 2010.

Longest run either of them had was I believe 14 yards, hardly killing us.

I agree. Dobbs is a scary good runner...way better than Mauk or Grier.

^First we have to go through EKU's guy.......and then likely Auburn's freshman. That little dude is quick.

I agree, Dobbs isn't much of a threat if he throwing the ball, but he is very good at breaking tackles and has good speed for an offensive guy, not just a qb. Without him, UF probably shuts out UT last weekend even with his poor passing game.

Writer was right about UK too, Towles has a group of big, fast WR to throw to, a lot like Arkansas had Petrino last year there, hard to cover them all. Teams have to rattle him. UK's offense is on, with those big WRs and good RBs is much scarier than the defense
