Kentucky is the "evil empire" of college Bob and John Calipari is the "Darth Vader" in the eyes of the media and other programs. No sympathy is coming their way for two key players having injuries, so UK needs to make a statement on the court and continue to win, despite the injury losses.

Just saw where Hornsby is out for the season at LSU. That is a huge loss for them...ESPN spent 15 minutes talking about LSU's chances...IF they make the NCAA.

Guys, UK is like the "oldest child" of the family. They are constantly taken for granted and expected to just keep going no matter what happens in life. dUKe is like the youngest child. Everyone freaks out when they get hurt or have issue and blame themselves.....haha.

Cal is trying to set up the 'us against the world' mentality heading down the stretch of the regular season. If that's what it takes to get his players in an aggressive frame of mind then, more power to him.
The truth is UK has very few friends in the media and college basketball as a whole. Success breeds contempt. Just like the Yankees and the Cowboys. We should never expect to catch a break because no one is interested in giving us one.

Well I disagree about not winning without Willis. I think we will have to change our gameplan some. We won quite a few games including a completely healthy Duke with out Willis and played Kansas tough on the road with Willis limited. Just played a game that we could have easily won if Poy had played on the road vs a very good AnM team. We smoked Alabama earlier with Willis barely playing and it was Poy dominating them with the pick and Roll. So we can win with or without one or the other. Be hard to win vs a good team without both. If we can get them both back healthy and Hump steps into the rebounding big man roll then this team becomes a very very scary team. I will be honest not gonna get out rebounded on the offensive glass as easy with Poy and Hump cause teams like AnM won't be able to just shove us under the basket at will
