"We have a patchwork squad that has out performed this year. Lean back and enjoy our success that far exceeds expected results."

Hear, hear ! Perfectly put. And it's a great nickname too.

I'm enjoying this season immensely, up and down the rollercoaster ride ! Are you?

I love Kentucky and Coach Pope ! Win or lose, I am 100% loyal and will stand with them until the end.

Go Big Blue ! ( get healthy guys, we are right there with you all ! )

Yesterday was hard to watch ,we seemed to struggle on offense all night long
With Butler or Robinson we win the game no doubt. I give the team credit for
doing what they did. It is a shame the injuries have reduced the team to this level.

I’m still happy with Coach Pope, the staff and team. Can’t wait until next season. That said, this is Kentucky, winning and the way you win matters. Losing and the way you lose matters too. IMO

EXACTLY.

Accepting of one's faults and flaws and how you confront adversity means as much as anything to me. I can accept these losses this year because I had a proper mindset ( I think) at the season's beginning. Now that we've lost the 8 regular season games I said we would, let's see how many more they will lose in the regular season. One step at a time.

But if anyone would have told me before the season started that we would have had to confront everything we have, and somehow won so many games against top competition, and losing on the road doesn't really phase me any longer. I think I outgrew road losses in the SEC when I was like, 7 and at Stokley Athletic center..... lol !!!

I would've thought you were nuts if you had told me we would have had THIS journey.

Sure, it's disappointing to lose the winnable games for this team, definitely winnable games we have lost, but the CIRCUMSTANCES surrounding everything has simply led to a rollercoaster year and it's been good, and very interesting. Far better than what we would have if we had the former coach and players. And the SEC this year FINALLY grew up, IMHO. It's about time. NOW we can get back to Kentucky basketball and show them how it's done.

Perspective, folks.

Just get healthy as we can be to be the best version of the team WE ARE, and I will trust in Coach Pope.

That is all

Go Big Blue !

We play better team ball against better opponents and we seem to play more individual ball when we have players out and against inferior competition. I think it’s just players trying to do to much on their own to make up for players out.
