Parrish's Updated Top 25 (And One).

Hard to tell how good the backcourt will be with mid-major players, but who knows. mid-majors and JUCO players that get a chance do well fairly often. That said, even if they have a good backcourt, they have an absolutely terrible frontcourt. There is a very small amount of production that will come from it, so they deserve to be outside of the top 26.

I don't even think they make it to the NIT maybe to the third or fourth tournament which Patiner will decline

TT Cat is definitely a Poser. Just went back and read his posts. Probably a UL fan, with his hideous spelling.

UNCheat #1 by default, being the team with the most returning players. I'm not as high on them as most people seem to be. Last 3 seasons, they've lost 12, 11, and 10 games. This ain't their 2005 or 2009 teams by a long shot.

"It's amazing that John Calipari missed on basically every high-level prospect he targeted over the past month. What's also amazing is that he'll still have a roster talented enough to make a fifth Final Four in six seasons."

So what's with all the hubbub, Bub? I know it's ridiculously early, but I don't get the gloom & doom around here? For some on here Big Blue Nation is slowly turning into Big Blue Nancy's.
I don't pay much attention to Sports media dudes but I don't think reaching the FF is unreasonable...

I have no arguments with being #4! It will be wide open next year, so I'll be fun to see how it all plays out.

I agree. but they are going to be good. They return just about every key player and they did lose 8 of the 12 against UK, UVA (when they were good), ND, Duke, UL, and Wisc...not like they were losing to nobodies. The ACC will be tough again but not nearly as good as this past season.

Where's the beef? Other than Poythress, all of our big guys are skinny and will get pushed around by larger opponents. Texas A&M is going to be a tough, tough match up for us this year. They have two very talented big guys coming in that outweigh Skal and Lee by about 50 pounds each.

Nearly every center outweighed Davis and he did ok.

Looks about right. I think we have the potential to be great, but shouldn't be #1 right now. Too many unknowns. And LOL him not having UofLoL in the Top 25. I thought I didn't think they would be good through my blue tinted glasses but it looks like others have the same opinion

North Carolina could be the pre-season NUMBER ONE team in the country, and this board is convinced our team will be no good next year, not to mention some of these same people think our recruiting has gone south.

you couldn't write this shit in a book.

If North Carolina turns out to be as good as some think they may be then things could get ugly next year. Your potential champion with 20 years of academic fraud being investigated. Does the NCAA go with the "we can't let them win" mantra, or the old "if they win it we won't dare lay a finger on our champion" strategy? It could be interesting to see how next year plays out (media portrayal/etc), since one of the best teams will be guilty of the worst case of academic fraud in NCAA history.

The dirty birds not in the top 25 all they can talk about is how the Cats are going to struggle. I hope we give the low life city collage fans a beat down in Dec that they deserve....GO CATS!!!

I'm okay with that ranking too, can't be number 1 every year, especially with this years head scratching choices of teams these recruits picked.
