OT top 5 teams in the NFL

@HerrosHeroes you asked about good steakhouses in New Orleans and since your Viqueens are doing so well tonight I thought you might want to go ahead and make a reservation. Mr. John's Steakhouse on St Charles is a favorite. You also said see you in New Orleans, what day are you arriving and will you be wearing Lions gear or Bills gear? Inquiring minds want to know. 😀

Anyone watching the Vikings could see that they had problems especially with allowing teams to come back in the 4th quarter even though they continued to win. How it all went so bad on both sides of the line in the last two games is shocking.

LOL, Sam Darnold is Sam Darnold for a reason. he just masked it for 14 games. With that terrible defense, they NEVER had a shot with or without Darnold playing good. Torched week in and week out. Vikings defense in the regular season gave up 270 yards per game passing, good enough for 29th in the NFL. Their elimination in the playoffs was inevitable. On offense, they was 19th in rushing, in the playoffs, you have to be able to run the ball. See how Buffalo ran it against a tough Broncos defense ? When Buffalo can't run the ball, that is when they get in trouble and are too one dimensional. Cook is going to be the key for them to beat the Ravens. That and slowing down Henry (you are not stopping him).

The teams that won had something in common, (other than Washington), running the ball and the defense playing stout.
Bills - Cook - 120 yards and a TD. / Defense played great.
Eagles - Barkley - 119 yards. / Defense played great.
Texans - Mixon - 106 yards 1 TD. / Defense played great.
Ravens - Henry - 186 yards 2 TD's. / Defense played great.
Rams - Williams - 76 yards (2nd half was key) / Defense played great.

Teams that lost :
Steelers - Harris - 17 yards, defense got torched by Henry
Chargers - Dobbins - 26 yards. Herbert throws 4 picks trying to pass too much.
Bucs - Irving - 77 yards on 17 attempts, was a close game as they could somewhat run the ball.
Broncos - Nix the QB was their leading rusher with 43 yards.

"But.... the NFL and the game of football has CHANGED. It's about passing the ball deep not running it....!!"

Weird that the formula hasn't changed that much over so many years. Only things we can't really tell from just looking st this weekend's games is which teams are for real.

-Pittsburgh had an anemic offense and their defense got tired of trying to make up for their offense.
-Vikings had similar issues.
-Chargers and Broncos were just happy to be there.
-Bucs caved after they got the lead.

This coming weekend will tell us more

Agree. But Denver has some nice things to look forward to, they was not even suppose to be this far in the rebuild. Hit the home run with Nix when everybody questioned drafting him (the kid played with a fractured back.) Have some nice pieces in Sutton and even Mims, defense is solid, need another quality DB, maybe a pass rusher. Offense needs another WR and a quality RB. Same for the Bucs, offense is solid, had some serious injuries at the WR (Godson mainly), solid TE in Otton, Evans is Evans, Mayfield is solid, Bucky Irving and the other RB White is a nice 1-2 punch. McMillan is a very promising young WR. Sure up the defense and they will be a tough out for years to come.

Chargers - Need a lot. O-Line, WR's to go with Mcconkey, defensive help at LB.
Pittsburgh - Complete overhaul. QB, RB, WR's, on defense they are overrated and aging.
Minnesota - Defensive help, a little more on offense, what do they do with Darnold ? The QB from Michigan is not ready.
Green Bay - Lots of help. Jacobs is a stud, but no real WR1, defense gives up too many big plays, Love is not a top QB, O-Line is not great.
