OT: Raymond Felton

Reminds me of how gray Cuttino Mobley looked a few years ago when he showed up to Big 3 Basketball.

Mobley just looks like he’s old. Felton looks like he just stopped working out at all.
That's what I was getting at. Wasn't saying Cuttino was a fat slob like Felton is now but it did shock me how old and gray he became. This has been some time ago too. The drastic change in appearance was my point.

He looked chubby back in his later years in the league with the Knicks. I saw it back then and it's not surprising at all. Same build as one of our own, Brandon Stockton.
Yep, weight became a real problem for him even during his playing days, as he was really chunky for a point guard during his later NBA years. So it’s hardly surprising that he’d balloon up in retirement.

But the difference is Cuttino could still play …despite looking like a gray haired old fart. I recall he was schooling younger dudes fairly fresh out of the league in that tournament.

I don't think I said anything about whether he 'could still play' or not. Has nothing to do with that.

Dude is still the most prolific scorer I’ve seen in college.
So fun to watch. Pull from anywhere. And wanna talk about a coach wasting talent---JFC. Brown had Jackson, O'neal and Stanley Roberts on that team. Fin ished 3rd in the SEC...But goodness they could score...100+ 11 times...But couldnt defend worth shit....Giving up 100+ , 6 times, including 141 to LMU(although they scored 148).

And goodness was that game fun. LMU average time of poss was 9.6 seconds.... LSU around 11.

Why put yourself through the public embarrassment of playing in front of fans if you look like that? If I was that fat, after having a professional career, I'd probably just buy a cabin in the woods and become a hermit, peacefully eating my twinkies and caramels with impunity.
Hell, I didn't play past junior high and I'd like to do that.
