OT: New York Mets sign pitcher throwing 110 mph+

He threw for the AAA team and clocked over 110 mph on several occasions...only threw 3 inning because of worries on his arm. His name is Finch Sidrick. Wow

Worries because he is having arm problems or worries that he will develop arm problems because of the strain throwing that hard puts on the arm? Does he have control or just velocity?

They had concerns that throwing 110-118 for several innings might damage his arm. Control seems not to be a problem. so it's actually pinpoint control. My guess is the catcher had a hard time with it. Talk of moving up to the bigs with being a closer.
