OT: Julius must be impressing...

If he works extremely hard and turns into a great shooter, he will me dominant for years.

I'm a Lakers fan and although Russell was the No. 2 pick back in the summer as well as the more hyped prospect, I believe Randle will be our top rookie this year and the face of the franchise going forward. When we first got him, I remember being on a Lakers board and people worried about him being undersized, not having a reliable long-range jump shot, etc...I told them to stop worrying because when it comes to Randle's weaknesses, he more than makes up for them with his strengths. One of the best post scorers I've ever seen wear UK blue, he is an ox on the block and can handle the ball well for his size (which is what he'll be doing a lot of in LA). He is just a flat-out gamer and I think the league will see that this season.

Dude is a future star. A very rare breed for a PF, for him to be as young as he is and to be able to physically dominate grown men is pretty ridiculous. That's not really what makes him special though. He pushes the ball in transition, handles the ball well, plays a point forward role on the break, tremendous speed for his size, ridiculous strength and finishing ability, outstanding rebounder, has a very solid mid-range jumper.
Well-rounded player that can do a little bit of everything while using a lot of speed and strength. If he can improve his jumper a bit more and move to SF, he could be nasty.

Oh yeah, they love him now. They are finally seeing what he can really do. Gonna be a star!

I haven't watched him since he left. Has he fixed his spin move where he kept turning the ball over?

Randle will be a star in the NBA, never been a fan of the Lakers but he may change my mind.

Well, even if he isn't a star. 3 million for the organization doesn't mean much. There's no risk whatsoever from signing him to this extension.

He's a very tough and strong player, has a knack for getting the ball in the net one way or another, as well as getting tough rebounds. Hopefully he continues to develop and refine his game. If he gets a consistent jumpshot, that would be even better.

Would have loved when he played here to be able to watch him show out without all the double teams.

Imagine him at the 4 and KAT at the 5. Man.
