I have family in Bloomington, Indiana that are alumn and big time boosters for IU Basketball. I was told that something was "in the rumblings" about the future of Tom Crean. Apparently there have been talks that Billy Donovan wants out of Florida pretty bad. I was told if he indeed leaves, IU will make a huge push for him and wont bat an eye at paying Creen's buyout. How crazy would that be? Pitino @ Louisville, Donovan @ Indy, Calipari @ UK.
I watched IU play Saturday.... its BAFFLING to me they look as bad as what they did. I mean, they have a TON of talent! They have a formidable PG in Yogi Ferrel, great SG in Blackmon, extremely long and athletic guys in Hanner Perea, Troy Williams, Stanford Robinson.....I mean that's a ton of long, athletic, talented guys. You give Billy Donovan that team and they are a Final Four contender.
