Fellas, 17 games or not, Vikings have that Division on absolute lockdown. Its over before Halloween.

I’d rather be 4-3 and watch the Bengals than watch Kirk Cousins play football. How is it legal that Chase and Jefferson were on the same team at LSU? Why is Kirk Cuz being racist toward Adam Thielen this season? Throw my dude a bone in the red zone man.

Id rather be 6-1 and winners of 5 straight and off to the best Vikings start in 13 seasons (circa 2009).
They will only get better and better as they get more and more settled in to the new offensive and defensive schemes.
The NFC North is over on Halloween!

TJ Hockenson to Vikings for future draft picks. Is TJ the best TE in football or the dude from SF? Either way he has 26 catches 396 yds and 3 TDs thru just 7 games with a 1-6 team. Could this move get the Vikings to the Super Bowl for the 1st time in 46 years?!

It has alot to do with who he is surrounded with as well. His #s the last few yrs at Minnesota have be very good.
The Vikings all but have the North locked up and if they can stay relatively healthy the rest of the way they will be a force in the playoffs as well.
 
Thielen is getting traded or restructuring his deal before next season. He's way overpaid for what he's producing.

Hock is a good move, but the offense runs through Jefferson and Cook.

More like restructured, Minnesota ownership wants to give the homegrown/undrafted All Pro Thielen a shot at a Super Bowl title, he’s not going anywhere this season.
Buckle your seatbelts, after 62 straight seasons without a SB title and 46 seasons without a SB appearance, this Vikings team, especially after the Hock trade, is poised to end those 2 dubious streaks.

I admit to not paying attention much to the NFL, but I looked at Minnesota’s schedule, because a friend was bragging. It appears to me that the Vikes have not played a very difficult schedule to date. They got their butts whooped by the one team they have played that appears to be a playoff caliber team. Not sure anyone in that division is a top team.

Four Things

1. Vikings lone L v the only undefeated team in the NFL.
2. Game was at Philadelphia.
3. Game was in week 2 of the season so extremely early.(Vikings were still adjusting to new HC, new OC and new DC)
4. The Hockenson trade was the best move of the NFL trade deadline.

Thus, if you are hanging hope on that early season L at the best record in the NFL being proof that the Vikings aren't elite and capable of winning the Super Bowl this season, esp. now with Hock, you are one to be pitied:

Whats up fellas? Cousins has thrown a TD pass in 37 straight gms and leads the NFL by a large margin in this category.
Now that he has yet another target to throw to, it looks like Drew Brees’ NFL record of 54 straight gms with at least a TD pass is in dire jeopardy……

I went with Cousins as my fantasy QB. 2 dollars for him in my auction league. He has done a good job for me. I'm 7-1 so far. Absolutely loaded at RB. Cousins very underrated.

As a long time Viking fan, you need to slow down. I don’t trust Cousins to take Vikings to the next level.

Very winnable game at 4-4 Washington tomorrow who will be playing a back up QB with Wentz out.
Virtually have a 4.5 game lead in Division based on head to head tiebreakers.
Just acquired an all pro, young TE
Have the NFL sack leader
Have the best WR in football

If you cant be overly optimistic now then you shouldn't be a fan!

I am hopefully optimistic but never look past the next game. I hope that the Coach and players don’t either. Certainly hope that the Vikings continue winning each week. Vikings are the only team that I follow that have never won a Championship. Would like to see that especially while Bud Grant is still on this side of the grass.

Kinda hard to rag on the Vikes with that road win today. Still, the NFC North is soft AF this year. Gonna be like St Louis winning the NL Central this year.

Yeah we fudged up letting Za'darius go.
Packers lost their best player on defense and their best player on offense and now they suck. The Packers may not win another game the rest of the year.
