I didn't see this posted here Friday. A sad joke on a crippled 'association'. There is one thing interesting here I'd never seen: Dan Kane's interview with Emmert when the original decision came out.
What it makes clear is that the NCAA didn't punish UNC solely because member organizations are allowed to make their own call on what is academic fraud, based on THEIR OWN STANDARDS.
That should never be forgotten: To protect its basketball team UNC-CHEATS said that the university's standards of honor and academic rigor don't forbid giving fake grades for no work. Emmert himself says that here.
