I can understand whey they would want to do that. If a show wins an Emmy, it only makes sense that the on-air personalities be given recognition as well as the producers. After all, they are the biggest reason for the show's popularity. For example a big reason for GameDay's success (which is used as an example in the article) is Herbstreit, Corso, etc.

Still, rules are rules, and willfully violating them like this makes you look pretty bad. It kind of sounds like something...ESPN would do.
