OT: Did anybody catch Game of Thrones last night?

Exactly.....the guy under the sheet was as big as a mountain lol....I'd have to think it's pretty much The Mountain. Hopefully we find out for sure, though.

I'm curious about Bran stark. He is a warg and instead of the ability to see and act through one spirit animal, he can warg into other humans and animals. Will he warg into one of the dragons? Will he warg into one of the key players from the different factions?

His ability is obviously going to come into play at some point in a key way.

Yes, as I said some somewhere...I think Dany, Jon, and Tyrion (att Targs imo) will join together to eventually face the walkers. Obviously dragon fire (or anything forged with it) is the key to their destruction and yes, Bran will play a large role in controlling them I think.

Something like this...

Then comes the other question. You have 3 people who would then be rightful heirs to the throne. If each have a dragon, each come up with their own armies, so on and so forth, how do you dispute who gets the throne? Rock, paper, scissors is out of the question.

I think everyone will have to join forces to beat the walkers. Jon and Dany will form an alliance but when it comes down to sitting on the throne, I believe he will either yield to Dany, marry Dany, or he'll die in the process. Remember Martin said the ending is "bittersweet" so my guess is he'll die.

Jon's nature seems to be to sacrifice himself. He is very much a Christ character - of humble beginnings, raised by someone not really his father, secretly the king. Maybe.

I have a question about Stannis' army. I may have heard wrong but I thought when lord Bolton and ramsey were discussing it, they said Stannis had 6000 men. Is that right? Because when Stannis defeated the wildlings at the wall, his army looked much larger than that. Looked to be 60000 at least.

I'm guessing Arya crosses off someone on her list, when they come to Bravos from King's Landing as ordered earlier this season.

You all really let the spoilers fly in this GoT thread...

But since it's already out there: In the books Qybern (the mad scientist) presents "Ser Robert Strong" as Ceresi's champion in her trial by combat. It's never confirmed in the books that Gregor Clegane (the Mountain) is Ser Robert Strong, but it seems inevitable since he's the only person that big in all of Westeros. That's basically all we know since Ceresi's trial by combat will happen in the next book.

Yep...I'm like 75% sure now that it is The Mountain under that sheet. But he did get a dude's head earlier....maybe to replace Oberyn's?

I don't know you guys.

What would that make Robert Baratheon's bastard (Gendry) who we haven't seen since season 3? Will he have a final say in being an heir to the Iron Throne?

Also -- remember a few episodes back when Cersei visited that scientist-like guy in King's Landing (whose name is escaping me at this point) and he had what appeared to be a body moving under a sheet? Wonder what (or who) that will turn out to be...

Gendry is a bastard, giving him zero claim to the throne. The same would be true for Jon too, IF Lyanna and Rhaegar were not married.

One of the main theories is that Lyanna and Rhaegar were secretly married (Rhaegar was already married to another woman but Targaryens have a long history of being polygamists), making Jon a legitimate son of Rhaegar and giving him the ultimate claim to the throne. I don't know how anyone in Westeros would be able to prove that they were married though.
