I guess IU really hates UK, I’m so happy to hear this news. They will get negative press and I love it.

For anyone who knows, what’s the story behind this? I read that UK players got hit by a lot of pitches, but that would make it seem like UK should have the beef, not IU. Was it thought that UK was crowding the plate? Was it something else? I didn’t see the series.
Uncanny how everyone from Indiana is pale and pasty. Whole baseball team same way.
As if Kentucky needed another reason not to play them in basketball, the fans and the players are just a like, bunch of hayseeds.

Got hit by 9 pitches yesterday alone. Complete bullshit. But what do you expect out of the Hoosiers.

Ha no kidding. The irony of it is that this elimination win was more significant than the December game they actually commemorated.
Cats gamed tonight. They were the tougher team. Hoosiers know it and it hurts.
It’s part of the game in college. There were 22 plus hit players in that region alone. UK(as well as others)practices getting hit. It’s a strategy rule that I bet gets changed very soon.
IU wasn’t expected to be this good. Very young team. 9 upper class men. That was a hard fought game.
They wanted it. It wasn’t intentional. UK practices it. It’s a strategy.
Indiana players and coaches were clearly annoyed at Kentucky’s strategy at times Saturday. After the ninth hit-by-pitch, which came following a long Kentucky home run, the umpire warned both benches. The game ended with the second tense exchange of words between coaching staffs in as many days.

REGARDLESS of the reason, there is no excuse to not show good sportsmanship after a game ; it's shitty and it's a low class move, IMO.

I think it was an unusually high pitch count game. I’ll have to look. It’s really nothing if you look at the whole picture. Great strategy that UK took advantage of. That’s a good team. They looked at IUs history of pitches and took advantage. Good coaching.

I agree; getting hit on the arm or shoulder by a curve isn't going to put you in the hospital and it's always as good as a base on balls.
To me it’s like taking charges in basketball. Effective but too Dukie imho. Congrats Cats. Beat dem Tigers.
