What a bunch of a$$holes but that’s expected out of that trash across the river!
For anyone who knows, what’s the story behind this? I read that UK players got hit by a lot of pitches, but that would make it seem like UK should have the beef, not IU. Was it thought that UK was crowding the plate? Was it something else? I didn’t see the series.
Got hit by 9 pitches yesterday alone. Complete bullshit. But what do you expect out of the Hoosiers. For anyone who knows, what’s the story behind this? Don't give em ideas they might do something to commemorate the 5-3 win they had on Saturday.Put THAT on your phone book cover, Jackasses.
Ha no kidding. The irony of it is that this elimination win was more significant than the December game they actually commemorated.Don't give em ideas they might do something to commemorate the 5-3 win they had on Saturday.
It’s part of the game in college. There were 22 plus hit players in that region alone. UK(as well as others)practices getting hit. It’s a strategy rule that I bet gets changed very soon. For anyone who knows, what’s the story behind this? IU wasn’t expected to be this good. Very young team. 9 upper class men. That was a hard fought game.Cats gamed tonight. They were the tougher team. Hoosiers know it and it hurts.
They wanted it. It wasn’t intentional. UK practices it. It’s a strategy.Got hit by 9 pitches yesterday alone. Complete bullshit. But what do you expect out of the Hoosiers.
You don’t play to get hit 9 timesThey wanted it. It wasn’t intentional. UK practices it. It’s a strategy.
Indiana players and coaches were clearly annoyed at Kentucky’s strategy at times Saturday. After the ninth hit-by-pitch, which came following a long Kentucky home run, the umpire warned both benches. The game ended with the second tense exchange of words between coaching staffs in as many days.
9 in one game ????They wanted it. It wasn’t intentional. UK practices it. It’s a strategy.

You still don’t understand. They took more than 22 in 3 games alone. It’s a UK among others strategy. It’s a rule being taken advantage of and it works. Clever if you ask me.9 in one game ????
I believe Id have tossed a Hoosier coach for that shit
They want to get hit. You don’t even know your own damn team. Lol. You guys act like it’s a bad thing. It’s part of the game and UK does it well. You don’t play to get hit 9 times
Yeah ok but 9 hitters in one game. You still don’t understand. They took more than 22 in 3 games alone. It’s a UK among others strategy. It’s a rule being taken advantage of and it works. Clever if you ask me.
I think it was an unusually high pitch count game. I’ll have to look. It’s really nothing if you look at the whole picture. Great strategy that UK took advantage of. That’s a good team. They looked at IUs history of pitches and took advantage. Good coaching.Yeah ok but 9 hitters in one game.
I read that article and I honestly still don’t get it. Either IU was pitching wild AF or UK was leaning in. If it’s the former, I don’t get what IU has to be pissed about. If it’s the latter, I don’t get why umps weren’t calling them on it.They want to get hit. You don’t even know your own damn team. Lol. You guys act like it’s a bad thing. It’s part of the game and UK does it well.
Why UK baseball players practiced getting hit by pitches before blowout of Indiana
After Indiana pitchers hit nine Kentucky batters Sunday, emotions are high heading into the Lexington regional final.news.yahoo.com
I agree; getting hit on the arm or shoulder by a curve isn't going to put you in the hospital and it's always as good as a base on balls. You still don’t understand. They took more than 22 in 3 games alone. It’s a UK among others strategy. It’s a rule being taken advantage of and it works. Clever if you ask me.
Yeah they should get tossed for that many hit batters. It’s part of the game in college. There were 22 plus hit players in that region alone. UK(as well as others)practices getting hit. It’s a strategy rule that I bet gets changed very soon.
I’m surprised pitchers don’t push them off with some heat.I agree; getting hit on the arm or shoulder by a curve isn't going to put you in the hospital and it's always as good as a base on balls.
Uk batters just lean and turn in.I’m surprised pitchers don’t push them off with some heat.
