Katie making big OL moves already:
At the outset of the “legal tampering” period, the Bengals have made a big move to upgrade their offensive line.
The Bengals and guard Alex Cappa have agreed to terms on a four-year, $40 million contract.
Schefter tweeted the news one minute after the legal tampering period started, meaning it’s safe to assume there had been contact between the Bengals and Cappa before then. That’s not allowed, but the NFL rarely does anything about it.
A third-round pick of the Bucs in 2018, Cappa has played his entire career in Tampa Bay and started all 17 games last year.
Tom Brady will miss Cappa, and Joe Burrow will be glad to have him.
Cappa was injured and missed the playoffs, but he didn't permit a sack all year so this is a big "get" by the Bengals.

More OL news:
Bengals agreed to terms with LG Ted Karras, formerly of the Patriots, on a three-year, $18 million contract.
Karras, 29 tomorrow, can play either guard or center but figures to slide in at left guard for the Bengals, who are making it a point to upgrade their offensive line early in free agency. Along with Karras, the Bengals also inked ex-Bucs RG Alex Cappa to a multi-year deal Monday. Karras appeared in all 17 games for the Patriots last season, starting 13, and graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 21 guard out of 137 qualifiers.
