I think I'm going to Mansfield OH and Noblesville IN with a small chance of going to Louisville KY.

Best heavy metal band EVER!!!

Not a huge metal fan but respect a lot of the musicians. Are they still good without DD? Don’t even know who replaced him.

Pantera without Dime and Vinny ain't Pantera. It's a money grab and it makes me sad.
That's an incredibly stupid way of looking at it.

It's still half the band with the most important part of the band, Phil Anselmo. You're missing out on most likely our last chance see the best ever.

Obviously we would have them all if we could but we can't so let's see Rex and Phil doing thier best to keep the name of Pantera alive and letting us see Pantera absolutely rocking out like old times.

I couldn't be happier to see them after so fk'n long.

PANTERA 4LIFE!!!

Phil isn't the most important piece, that's ridiculous. The guitar is what made them who they were.

And I saw em when it was real Pantera, with morbid angel and them on the Extreme Steel tour. I won't sully that concert with this half assed "pantera".

To call it a reunion is sad. The Abbotts were Pantera. Love Phil, but he's the reason they broke up. At this point, it's nothing more than a tribute. Which I'm ok with. Feel like Charlie benante is doing Vinnie Paul justice on the drums. Zakk is good too. But there was only 1 dime. And I'm not saying he was the greatest, but there was only 1

How did the Abbotts do with Damageplan? The singer is and always will be the most important piece. Especially with a voice like Phil's. I've never heard ONE person say "that Pantera concert was so incredible thanks to Dime." That's fk'n hilariously stupid.

Get your head out of your ass. It's half the band and the most important piece is in it. People on the internet ARE NOT saying "it was just ok." They're saying that it was "AMAZING and Phil still sounds as GREAT as ever."

Most important piece? You mean the one that the Abbott brothers couldn't stand, and the one that broke them up? I love what they're doing, but it's NOT a reunion. It's a tribute. Keep your head up your ass. And ppl on the internet saying it? Lol. Must be true. I've heard very differing views. But like I said, I'm not against it. But, the Abbott brothers, WERE Pantera.

And NOBODY going to see Pantera would be going for them. They're going for the music and for Phil.

A drummer and guitarist make up a band? I bet you get pink eye a lot.

And I bet you've never played an instrument in your life. Not even gonna argue. You're right. Phil is the whole band 🙄

And that was about the dumbest comment ever. They go for the music. Who do you think wrote the music, dumbass? Furthermore, more to a band makeup than the singer. And I love Phil, but he's not even an original member. THE ABBOTS WERE PANTERA.

The most important part of the band are the guys who wrote the songs. Without them there's no band. The Abbott brothers did just that. All of the music, co-produced the songs, even wrote most of the melodies - while letting their addict singer write some lyrics.

Never was much of a fan but respected thr vision, guitars, and drums. The Abbott brothers were Pantera.

I'm a singer and from a non-musician, fan point of view can see why you think the singer is most important. But even there you have exceptions - DLR of Van Halen, the reason I wanted to sing, wasn't more important than EVH.

Same situation applies here with the Abbott brothers.

About 1% of regular fans care about anything other than the singer and I understand completely that a musician is going to have a lot different outlook.

Metallica is the same. JH (although I think his voice sucks now) is the reason why they're still as big as they are.

How many bands have had great success with a new singer versus a new drummer, bassist or guitarist?

Regardless of who wrote the songs and music, the singer is who the fans loved.

The singer is the one most ppl relate with. And I know not everyone is a musician, or even know how to appreciate good musicians, and how vital they are to the band.

Another bad comparison with papa het. He is the best rythym guitar player, and riff writer in metal. So he contributes much more than singing. Which if you listen lately, he's gotten his voice back. But he has written about 90-95 % of the songs/riffs that they play. The singer is one of the most vital pieces, no doubt. But to say Pantera IS Anselmo, Is ridiculous.

Any true music lover, or musician, knows how important Dime was. He spent "7" years, just trying to find the right tone for cfh. And his playing, and tone, is not able to be duplicated, he was the Pantera sound. Same with evh, who found a very nice replacement for dlr. Sammy sings circles around anything Dave has ever sang. You have your right to your opinion, doesn't make you right. Just like mine doesn't make me right. But I guarantee, way more ppl would agree with me, and not your obtuse argument. And listen. We're both Pantera, and uk fans. Not trying to argue. Just stating that there are different views. And most ppl that say it's perfect, or whatever you Said about reviews? Were probably not even born when the "real" Pantera was destroying the world

I've been rocking out to Pantera and seeing them in concert since CFH. I can't think of one major metal band that the vast majority of people love a different band member than the singer. I'm not talking about people that sit on the internet all day reading about bands and study their life stories. Most people don't have time or care to know their full history. I bet and I'm guessing low that 90% of Disturbed fans don't know hardly anything about the band other than DD.

I get your point. We can just agree to disagree. But disturbed guitar player isn't an icon. Dime is.
