OT: A Florida fan made this for UT

I know Billy, his dad was one of my best friends, he played for me. I was excited to see him become a head coach at a P5 school, I just hated it was in SEC East. No idea if he will be successful, but don't let the accent fool you. He is extremely bright and was very shy as a kid. I guess he has has to do his best to overcome that. I just wish he had gone ACC or BIG12.
Billy seems like a humble young man, I like that and I wish him well. it's not like most p5 head coaches to be humble!

Would've been easier, but he has talent there. Just needs to use it better.

I don't get what the reasoning is behind not running AR. I'd rather die on the sword playing what gives you a chance to win, rather than hold off running him because the best backup is injured.

Fk that. Go for broke. This is football. People get hurt and seasons crumble because of it sometimes. The players want to win. Unless they move the ball running it to set up the pass, their season is over with or without a healthy backup QB.

There is no doubt he is a very nice person, smart coach and I like his accent because he talks like me. But I know Gator fans and they will turn on him in a New York minute. I want him to be successful because he seems to be a decent person and a very hard worker.

Unfortunately he was left with a bare cupboard for Florida Gator standards. A few recruiting classes may change that. But their fans are not patient and can get a little testy. A few days after the Cats beat them I was in Tarpon Springs and one of the shop keepers there went on a rage about his dislike for Billy Napier. It was stupid and silly but there are more like him in Gator Land.

I would dearly love to see the Gators beat the Vols today.

I think Chumlee will pile it on, just don't see UF being able to score many, without alot of help from UT with turnovers and special teams. I hope I am wrong, but I am afraid tomorrow puts Billy on the hot seat. UF is a handful of plays from being 0-3 heading into this game
This.... and after all those beat downs and smart-@$$ quips by Spurrier that scarred my youth......watch me crack a smile at all the reptile garbage as they feast on each other in the chaos/aftermath.... get your popcorn ready....gonna be another fun year in the SEC.

I hate UT with a passion but I love to bet College football and I just can't see this Gator team hanging with UT, so I got the Vols giving the points. Can't see this being a close game

No doubt they will turn on him in a minute, especially when he wasn't who they wanted from the get go. It's a tough profession, and I am as guilty as anyone when things go south when it comes to wanting a new coach. It's just a different feeling when you actually know and like them

Most likely UT wins this game big, but in this sport, anything can happen.
Napier knows he can’t just roll out the same gameplan today, he'd be foolish to do that, so hopefully he goes for broke and surprises everyone.
I'll be pulling for UF today.

UT's top receiver is out today, Tillman. He isn't their only WR, don't think it changes the outcome, but maybe a little closer than I was thinking.

Florida and UT each tried to give this game away, and eventually Florida did enough to hurt themselves that they lost. Wasn't the blowout everyone thought it was going to be. UF lost this game on special teams with 2 bad moves in the first half (downs on the first drive instead of taking the 3 pts, and missing the FG on the next) and sloppy play. UT was not the juggernaut, even at home.

UT doesn’t have a defense worth squat. Their offense is legit. And it will be a challenge for us down there.

Good post.

However, I think UT's pass offense is legit and Hooker is going to be a problem.

Tennessee gashed UK last year with their passing game, just like they did to Florida last night.

Every time UK scored, UT came right back with long pass plays where receivers were wide open down the sidelines. We couldn't stop it.

It’s extremely important to get Hooker on the ground as quick as possible and not allow UT's receivers to get behind out db's.

If Hooker is still uninjured by then, and we have our team intact, we can talk about it then. I'm not worried about them and won't be. Obviously they could best us as they did last year, but the same holds true for UK as they beat them in Knoxville the last time without Levis.

Ole Miss game is going to tell us more about our team than these past 4 games have. As far as I'm concerned, we're 1-0 with nothing really proven at this point. Will be a different offense and defense than we've seen 3 out of 4 weeks so far.
