Oscar and the F1 today

It was the correct call but has anyone notice that Oscar in games this season has had his hands up around the opponent's head a lot ?

Yeah, he has shown his frustration more this season. On the play today, the guy grabbed him by the arm after the rebound and held him all the way to mid-court, and then Oscar slapped his arm away and slapped his face in the process.

I've gotta take up for Oscar- yes, he's strong as an ox but have you ever seen a guy who gets hammered more often with no call? It happens in every game. He basically gets penalized for being stronger than anyone else on the court.

I have to say that number 34 on A & M is one of the dirtiest players we have faced in a while. Grabbing Oscar and Toppin at every chance. Going thru the lane was dangerous, as he lurked and awaited his chances. The play on the other end is what started the push mess that Oscar got caught for by giving him a small smack. If you could re-play it, the refs didn't go back far enough to see him grab Oscar on the missed shot, and O got caught retaliating.

Also looked like he stuck his finger in Oscar’s rear just before he threw his hand back too.

Say what you want about how O should be smarter than that. There isn’t another top college center or PF that I can remember, outside of maybe Townes, who would have let that stuff slide. Cal should be blasting it to the media whenever he talks. Make people take notice who aren’t UK fans.

My issue was that Oscar blatantly got pushed while airborne and no F1. That is the definition of an F1.

Pushing someone airborne is the dirtiest thing you can do. There's a very high chance of injury. Should be automatic ejection IMO.

He's starting to lose his patience because they are beating his ass to death and nothing is getting called.

I mean, if this was Tyler Hansbrough, he'd have 20 points from free throws alone each game. But our NPOY? Well, unfortunately he's stuck with a coach that the refs hate.

But, he does need to tone it down a bit. Some of his antics are going to end up getting him thrown out, and we don't need that for sure.

I don't know if I've ever seen them miss a call and then multiple plays happen and go back 2-3 plays to call a flagrant. WTF? And we're at home. Right call, but strange. Is that even legal?

Oscar is getting slapped around like a $5 hoe and barely gets any calls. I've seen it in back to back games him just get mugged and no call or a call on us. It's BS!

Definitely think this is the longest I've seen them go back.

Shaq. And we used to do it to him. It was wrong then as it is know, but

you would be hard pressed to find a UK fan then that would say so. Just as the Ewwtee and AM fans today.

Our guys took it today for sure. Oscar with his usual hacked day,

But poor Toppin got it the worst. First he got kneed in the crotch on that play at the basket and then he got that hard, should’ve been flagrant, foul as he was going for the layup.

Between his boys and his back he must be hurting tonight.

Why did Oscar not get free throws for being fouled while shooting? I know they called all the F1s but he was pushed while shooting.

I was screaming the same thing and Tom Hart said it also. The refs spend so much time at the monitor they forget the play they made the call on. It was a horribly officiated game.

The announcers were confused about that as well and finally said it was because the foul took place on the floor and not when he was shooting. I was looking for a FT as well as most everyone else.
