It was the correct call but has anyone notice that Oscar in games this season has had his hands up around the opponent's head a lot ?
Because he’s getting grabbed. A lot. And it’s not getting called. A lot.It was the correct call but has anyone notice that Oscar in games this season has had his hands up around the opponent's head a lot ?
why wasn't it a f1 when Toppin was knocked the hell lout ofHe's starting to lose his patience because they are beating his ass to death and nothing is getting called.
I mean, if this was Tyler Hansbrough, he'd have 20 points from free throws alone each game. But our NPOY? Well, unfortunately he's stuck with a coach that the refs hate.
But, he does need to tone it down a bit. Some of his antics are going to end up getting him thrown out, and we don't need that for sure.
Could have gone either way but UK isnt getting that call, not even in Rupp. They could have called it but I knew they wouldnt.why wasn't it a f1 when Toppin was knocked the hell lout of
I thought for sure it would be, but this is Shows we're talking about. It was clear to me that the kid had no intention of making an actual play on that ball. He intentionally used his entire body to hammer Toppin, knowing full well it would not be that obvious. But we all know he knew exactly what he was doing.why wasn't it a f1 when Toppin was knocked the hell lout of
just what I told my wife and daughterI thought for sure it would be, but this is Shows we're talking about. It was clear to me that the kid had no intention of making an actual play on that ball. Man. Every person has a breaking point. Ever play like the poking game with your parents were you would just se what the line was? That’s Oscar right now. He’s sick of getting hacked to death. Yes he needs to maintain his composure but I get it.Oscar has to be smarter than that. He’s too important to let people get in his head and respond the way he did today. That will be in every game plan from here on out if he doesn’t show better composure.
andTwo games in a row our guys have elbowed and been whistled for it. I believe Reeves done it in crunch time in a game or so ago.
I have to say that number 34 on A & M is one of the dirtiest players we have faced in a while. Grabbing Oscar and Toppin at every chance. Going thru the lane was dangerous, as he lurked and awaited his chances. The play on the other end is what started the push mess that Oscar got caught for by giving him a small smack. If you could re-play it, the refs didn't go back far enough to see him grab Oscar on the missed shot, and O got caught retaliating. All of the above is true. I think the officials allowing players to grab and push him (more than other players) is/has taken it's toll on him, and he's tired of it. By allowing that kind of stuff the refs are just asking for an escalation that happened today, and luckily didn't escalate further (thanks to Toppin).
Yeah, he has to stop doing that. It is going to cost us one of these times. It was the correct call but has anyone notice that Oscar in games this season has had his hands up around the opponent's head a lot ?
That call on Reeves was terrible. Two games in a row our guys have elbowed and been whistled for it. I believe Reeves done it in crunch time in a game or so ago.
Actually I think they did. Marble was assed a common foul and a technical.I have to say that number 34 on A & M is one of the dirtiest players we have faced in a while. Yeah he has a bad habit of keeping his elbows up high.It was the correct call but has anyone notice that Oscar in games this season has had his hands up around the opponent's head a lot ?
Exactly, Oscar gets beat down most games. He rarely gets the amount of calls he should. The other night when he had 37 he did, that’s the output he would have if they called him correctly. He's starting to lose his patience because they are beating his ass to death and nothing is getting called.

Yeah I used to like Buzz. Snappy dresser and tough coach. At one time his name was thrown around for following Cal (years ago mind you).I promise you they planned to hold him running up the court hoping for what happened.
Even that game, he didn’t get the calls he should have. The breakaway dunk on the steal, the guy grabbed both his arms and no call from the refs. I’d be pissed too.Exactly, Oscar gets beat down most games. He rarely gets the amount of calls he should. Because Doug Shows was calling the game. Enuff said.why wasn't it a f1 when Toppin was knocked the hell lout of
Yeah that was terrible, luckily he made that one.Even that game, he didn’t get the calls he should have. The breakaway dunk on the steal, the guy grabbed both his arms and no call from the refs. I’d be pissed too.
It all started when Marble was grabbing his arm running down the court. It was the correct call but has anyone notice that Oscar in games this season has had his hands up around the opponent's head a lot ?
He probably should have gotten a second F1 a little later with that elbow up in the neck right before the commercial break. He gets his elbows up in players necks a lot when blocking out and the refs are calling it some of the time. He's got to play smarter with them calling that or it's going to end up costing us in a game.Yeah he has a bad habit of keeping his elbows up high.
It could have been season changing. We were up 6 and Reeves got fouled, which they missed, and then gets called for an F1 on a basketball move. That call on Reeves was terrible.
Was probably one of those plays where if he misses then a late foul is calledYeah that was terrible, luckily he made that one.
Cal noted the NPOY in his post game and the treatment he got. He's starting to lose his patience because they are beating his ass to death and nothing is getting called.
