I’m still waiting on Givony to update his …ESPN kinda the main one
Several ahead of him will withdraw. Hopefully not enough to make him stay in though. Not gonna cut it. The Big O is back!
Keep hoping. You may strike gold.If they go somewhere else, then you know the culture and locker room are bad.
Why else would you think a kid, who isn't getting into the NBA anytime soon, and who would get plenty of minutes (7 scholarship players), is leaving? These kids can't get away from UK fast enough.Keep hoping. You may strike gold.
That is why Oscar came back last year and Cal was able to get another number one recruiting class. These kids just hate UK and playing for Cal.Why else would you think a kid, who isn't getting into the NBA anytime soon, and who would get plenty of minutes (7 scholarship players), is leaving? These kids can't get away from UK fast enough.
Oscar didn't have a choice, lol. And it appears he does not have a choice this year, either. It's the recruiting staff who are landing these kids. Recruiting suffered greatly when we didn't have Antigua. It's also easier to recruit when it looks like you'll have holes everywhere and the head coach is feverishly pushing kids out who aren't ready for the NBA.That is why Oscar came back last year and Cal was able to get another number one recruiting class. These kids just hate UK and playing for Cal.
Did Chris say that?Guys like Chris Livingston are what is so frustrating.Common sense says he should be a sure return to UK but he is the least likely of the 3 to return.
It does appear that the NBA is looking to these developmental leagues as a talent pool.I certainly hope Oscar chooses to return, but his position in these rankings isn’t what I found most interesting.
What jumped out to me is that 3 out of the first 6 draft picks are projected to be kids from either G League Ignite or Overtime Elite.
It will be interesting to see what type of impact that might have on elite players deciding on whether to play in college or choose one of these alternate routes.
It has to be just look at all the players leaving and we have playing time for themIf they go somewhere else, then you know the culture and locker room are bad.
That is why Oscar says he loves Cal and Kentucky so much. Said he would never leave UK for another school. Of course playing time and NIL is something you never thought of.It has to be just look at all the players leaving and we have playing time for them
But under Cal's system once he gets his 7-8 guys everyone else becomes practice buddies and bench warmers. If he was know for giving the rest time and develops backup players maybe he could get more players. He did it to himself. It has to be just look at all the players leaving and we have playing time for them
If they go somewhere else, then you know the culture and locker room are bad.
Stop making stuff up! How many times does Oscar have to express his respect and admiration for Cal before haters like you accept it? He has made it clear that if he stays in college, he is staying at UK. Livingston and his camp seem delusional. They think he is ready for the NBA. NBA decision makers don't seem to feel that way. If he transfers out, it would say more about him and his camp than about Cal and any locker room problems.
Some kids don't want to go to class and are not very strong academically. Why else would you think a kid, who isn't getting into the NBA anytime soon, and who would get plenty of minutes (7 scholarship players), is leaving? These kids can't get away from UK fast enough.
I like a lot of those 2nd round guys almost as much as the 1st round guys (other than French Freak, and Miller). Why is Jalen Wilson so low (#46)?
not much upside to his game imoWhy is Jalen Wilson so low (#46)?
Nope. he made more in NIL than he would have made in the NBA or overseas. You think this is about his development? This is about money. He is likely fully developed alreadyHe's gone. Should have left last year. Big mistake coming back to be used in the same exact way he was the year before with no real development.
Where's he going though? If he transfers he has to sit out. I think he returns..Guys like Chris Livingston are what is so frustrating.Common sense says he should be a sure return to UK but he is the least likely of the 3 to return.
G league.Where's he going though? If he transfers he has to sit out. I think he returns..
I guess, doesn't seem like a very good business move.G league.
Right - more money in that one year allegedly. But the NBA is where the real money is if he can stick and get the second contract. So he took more in the short term for potentially less in the long run.Nope. he made more in NIL than he would have made in the NBA or overseas. You think this is about his development? This is about money. He is likely fully developed already
Especially because NIL was supposed to keep fringe draft guys - and Chris isn't even close - from making DUMB decisions to leave UK prematurely. But here we are.Guys like Chris Livingston are what is so frustrating.Common sense says he should be a sure return to UK but he is the least likely of the 3 to return.
There's that word "hate again. That is why Oscar came back last year and Cal was able to get another number one recruiting class. These kids just hate UK and playing for Cal.
NBA draft on how good you possibly could get, not on how good you are.not much upside to his game imo
