Only two of our players projected to get drafted

I think the article saying only 2 may be closer to the truth than those of you who think we get 6+.
Diallo, 95%+, he is athletic freak, has good height/length for his position. Only negative is his shot.
Knox, 70%, if he is one of our best 2-3 players. He had adequate length for a SF. But can he shoot good enough? 2G & SF are the 2 toughest positions to make it in the league. MKG couldn't shoot, but he maxed out his athleticism and unmeasureables. Knox needs to show something others don't/can't.
Washington, 60%, if he is one of our best 2-3 players. But is he a PF in a SF body. If so he is undersized for an NBA PF. Can he show enough SF skills?
Vanderbilt, 40%, unless he is one of our best 2-3 players. Unless he can show to be a very valuable piece to this team, his chances aren't great. I don't think he has a special area that he excels. Not a great shooter, not an athletic freak, not tall/long for his position, he's just another solid SF.
Richards, 50%. Could go higher. He has the length. It really just depends on how he does, how he improves during the season.
SGA, 20%. Could go up to 40-50%. But he might not play enough. And if he struggles shooting, it's a no.
SKJ 10%.
Green 10%. You don't see many short >6'2 pass-first PGs leave early for the NBA, especially after 1 or 2 years. If they do, they were all-american type players. He'll be a good player, but not with any elite or special skill set. I think he is here for 3 yrs.

My prediction is we lose 3, max 4.

Wow kinda surprised by Richards. For some reason Ive taken him more as an SKJ than a cousins or kat. Guess I've been selling him short. That would be either amazing or really, really bad if he's our highest player drafted lol

Richards and SKJ are different C. I see Richards more of a physical presence vs SKJ, finesse and faces the basket.

During the all-star games the commentary was that no more than 2/3 guys in the entire class should be OAD. Yet folks on here think 3/4 just from UK (DIallo not in this class). The bloom is off the rose a bit IMO. Many kids now realizing they don't have to go to UK to be OAD.

If we get a title in 2019 it will be because some of this year's class return.

Knox will be a lottery pick. If that kid is not on any mock drafts, the mock draft is worthless and many are not paying attention to the kid's talent level and body build. In college, Knox has the frame to play some in the post and cause havoc. While in the NBA, Knox is the type of small forward any team in the league wants on their roster. Once Kentucky's season is over, the myth about Knox's outside shooting will be proven wrong and when that happens, no way this kid falls out of the lottery. I know it's only my opinion and doesn't mean much, but I believe Knox will be the best player and go to guy late for Kentucky. If you are the best from a roster full of Cal recruited kids, I think it's safe to assume the kid will be drafted lottery.

I see Knox, PJ Washington, Vanderbilt, Diallo, and Richards all going somewhere in the 1st Round of the 2018 NBA Draft. If you look at the NBADRAFT.NET for the 2018 Mock Draft for the NBA you have Richards at #10, Vanderbilt at #11, Knox at #15 ( I believe Knox goes higher than Richards at #10), and Washington right now is 2nd round at #34 but I see him moving up to the 1st Round by end of next season. We still will wait on Gabriel, SKJ, and probably Green because they will probably put there name in the draft but won't hire an agent. So, we could lose anywhere from 5 to 8 players to the NBA Draft. All Coach Cal will do is reload with Quickley, Williamson, Barrett, and whoever else he brings in for the 2018-2019 season!
