The statement is probably an unpopular opinion, but I think this season has already been ruined by home losses to South Carolina and Vandy. Just can’t happen. Even if we won out, we’d be 9-3 and miss the playoff because of those losses.
The question is this, If the Iowa job opens or Stoops decides to retire, how confident are you that Barnhart would make the slam dunk hire of Jon Sumrall? I have my doubts. I bet he’d promote Brad White, which very well could work, but that’s a much bigger risk.
